I have 1 TB WD Passport external hard drive and I want to connect it to my android phone directly via OTG but my problem is that I can't get it work. I think problem is that my harddisk has NTFS file system and Android without root can't read from FAT32.
So can I change partition file system on my disk and then will it work with OTG from mobile ?

I don't think it wil work even if file system is Fat32 because mobile can't provide required power to spin an external hard drive. Still you can try , you can use tools like Mini Tools Partition Magic (freeware for personal use) to create partition from existing partition table of your external HD and then use Android on FAT32, do let me know if you got it working...
