i applied for passport in January 2013. my police verification was ok, but i received objection letter that name of my mother is different in application and in my tenth certificate. i sent them all the documents required for clarification but received no reply. after that i shifted to hyderabad, now what should i do. can i close my application and start a new one ? plz help

It is clearly mentioned that you can't apply for another passport if one application is approved. I suggest you to fix a appointment and then ask them directly solution there at PSK.
