Many of the food items mentions that they contain 0% fat or no trans fat.Is it that the particular item conains no fat at all.It makes me hard to believe sometime that the butter comes in the market with no cholesterol and less fat.

As per govt. order, they have to publish nutritional value of food items, so generally for reliable brands they are close enough. As for butter, now there are artificial butter which looks and tastes like milk butter but are made of edible oils etc. like Nutrilite, Amul light etc. and since they are not really butter, they could have comparatively lesser cholesterol and fat.

Btw, which particular butter brand you referring ?
