Anyone here Idea how can I unlock my TATA PhotonMAX 3G Wifi device so that can use any of the SIM on it ? It is actually made by Huawei and has model number E8231s-1 . Searched online but can't find photonMax unlock process. This device supports upto 21.1 mbps speed but lacks microSD slot.

I don't know why they don't sell them unlocked..

I have experience with Huawei devices, when you use such device which is network locked, on inserting non-supported Network SIM, it ask for SIMLOCK password, you have it then your device is unlocked.

SIMLOCK password is generated through IMEI code, there are many websites online which can give you password but I suggest not to share your IMEI number there, they may use your IMEI number for cheap chinese phones but its just a theory.
