I want some help from all of you here. I would like to get a website created for myself.. A website about myself.. my interests etc etc. basically an online me.. basically my idea is to network with others with similar interests as mine which could lead to greater ideas.. But i do not want to get into the website creation myself.. I would like to get it done online.. There are so many providers of web hosting services.. i am confused as to what choice to make though yahoo s webhosting is what i am biased towards.. HELP ?

From your post i understand your requirement is not on a large scale. Therefore you can even contact some local service providers. There are many small agencies who would buy server space for you, and help design and host your website. Like you mentioned, yahoo small business also provides effective webhosting services.

I feel better that you need to focus on the small scale providers and not on the large scale one ....
Please concentrate on this small business.
