hi don't know a bit about shares can somebody please guide me what are shares n how do they help in economy growth???

A typical yet simple question. I don't think I can describe here myself. But all I can say that a share in stock market means that you buy a part of company in form of the share, now until you own them then you are also entitled to get profit on that part share. It also means that you may also suffer a loss if company suffers.

Well, above was simple explanation, but there are lot more thing in the stock market regarding same.

A share represents the part of ownership . By investing in shares of a particular company investor gets a part of ownership in that company which depends on the number of shares he is holding.Investment in shares is done to earn dividend.
