Small things makes big difference but people often overlook those small things. For example, as you said, children beat/hit stray dogs just for fun but why don't they realize that it hurts. How they can ignore the pain which will be there for dog after they hit him? and that too just for fun.

Actually, I think problem starts right from childhood, children are repeatedly reminded about hatred for other communities, violence everywhere and no one is there to teach them, so ultimately, on becoming adults, those children comes with lesser degree of feelings for others as well as a comparatively lower level of understanding for peace and brotherhood.

I may not be clear in explaining here but I strongly feel that it all starts with childhood.

Childrens r not born with wrong views but they r feeded by us what ever example we r putting in front of them they r adopting that so before trying to changing them we all must first analyze our self then we will have drastic changes in society
