Wanted to know your opinion on whether it is worth spending a few thousand rupees on teflon coating the exterior of a new car. They also provide rubber coating of the underside of the car with a five year guarantee!

Well, Teflon Coating is .. no doubt very useful but I suggest you to have Demo first, also its costly affair but if it is real Teflon coating then its worthy to have it. Also ask how much warranty they are giving for it.

Problem is that, most of the time they will do normal Polish and will then say that its Teflon coated. So make you got proper warranty card etc.

Regarding under car rubber coating, all car comes with various layers of coating but the under car rubber coating will add another layer of protection. Its again good to have it, just make sure when it is done, its done properly!
