Hmm.. being energy efficient, such florescent lamps are getting very popular.. but that report do not share that how much risk is increased for skin cancer known as malignant melanomas ?

CFL are FAR better for the enviornment that say, Bulbs.

An 11W CFL replaces a 60W Bulb, and thats some huge power saving.

They Do contain some trace mercury, but with careful handling, should never be a problem.
