With world-wide fame, a grand home in Mumbai, infinite awards and nominations under his belt and a loving family, SRK seems to have it all. But is King Khan’s life becoming not so king-size these days?
SRK appears to be caught in a web of bad relationships in bollywood these days. His competition with Big B is creating tensions even between the statues of the two at Madame Tussade’s. His infamous word dual with Aamir Khan over being the No.1 has got the two in a cold war situation. A recent fight with Salman Khan speaks ill of SRK for being in tense relations with the very prominent figures in bollywood.
Financial matters don’t seem to be going too well either. Billu Barber failed to make it big on the box office and his plans to purchase a property in Dubai were brought to an end owing to the recession.
Kolkata Night Riders, which had great expectations in the IPL season 2, failed to even come close to greatness, despite the huge amount of media uproar made for the team. To top it all, his decision of removing ‘Dada’ from captaincy and replacing him with Brendon Mcullum, hurt the sentiments of many Indians and not only got him cold vibes from all over the country but also flooded his inbox with hate mails.
With his currently beleaguered position and good work by his co-actors like Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, the going may just get tougher for King Khan.
But with his irrefutable image of the bollywood romantic boy and forthcoming big banner films like My name is Khan, we hope he will get back more than he has lost and re establish himself mas the Badshah.
