Acer announced the launch of their two new eMachine notebooks- the D525, on the Celeron platform and the D725, on the Pentium Dual Core platform.
eMachines has been a stand-alone brand in the US (Home Market) to be sold through retailers, e-tailers and channel partners. It was previously available in the selected markets like that of Canada, Japan, Mexico and UK. eMachines is now being launched globally as a part of the Acer’s multi-brand strategy with the Indian launch being a part of this strategy.

The Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India, S Rajendaran said, “The eMachines brand of notebooks being launched today are the right tools for work and entertainment, promising optimized performance that simplifies daily computing. It comes equipped with a simple but neat design. The unique interlink pattern that adorns the top cover also serves the practical function of being smudge-proof, a bane with most Notebooks that have a shiny top cover which is prone to scratches and impressions/smudges left behind by handling. The notebooks are LED backlit making them power efficient and they come at most competitive price points that will definitely attract the consumer looking for a good notebook at a great bargain from a reputed global brand.”

The eMachine D525 launched has an Intel Celeron mobile processor. It also has a Dual-channel DDR2 SDRAM support and a 14’’ high definition 1366 X 768 pixel resolution. Its hard disk drive is 160GB and it is equipped with a 5-in1 card-reader. It also has a 0.3 mp resolution Integrated Webcam. Its price is Rs. 24,999, taxes extra.

While, the eMachine D725 launched has an Intel Pentium Mobile Processor T4200. It also has a Dual channel DDR2 SDRAM support and a 14’’ high definition 1366 X 768 pixel resolution. Its hard disk drive is 160GB and is equipped with an Integrated Low Light enhanced video webcam. It also has touch-pad pointing device and easy launch keys. It would cost around Rs. 27,999, taxes extra.

These two eMachines are pre-loaded with Microsoft Works 8.5, Windows Vista with Service Pack 1. It comes with a 1-year warranty

ACer is Good Product indeed.. Better than other Costly lappy which has Less feature and costly price.. Its has good features .

And this lappy comes in 3 colors -like- Black, blue and Red.
