Despite of bankruptcy in its mother company, General Motors India showed that it is unaffected and they launched new variant of their entry level hatchback. The new variant SPARK LPG comes with company fitted LPG option. The car can run on both fuel ie. Petrol and LPG thus giving it better efficiency and value for money.

Company said that the bankruptcy is just US counter part and operation of company in India will run as usual. The company also plans to launch luxury sedan Chevrolet Cruze in September and a mini car by the end of this year.

The new GM Spark is priced at Rs. 3.52 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi)

wow.. GM india is really rocking... Also Spark LPG will get really good response...

In India, GMI recently launched the Chevrolet Spark LPG version, they said it can run on petrol as well as on LPG. Is it good idea to buy the Chevrolet Spark LPG version.

also if you check on GM's india website you will find 2 more cars to be launched in india by GM this year end.. one is in sept 2009 and other in dec 2009..both cars which are going be launched will be with Petrol and LPG option..
