Abhijeet Sawant joins Shiv Sena the on Saturday to attract youth. Abhijeet Sawant who won the first title of Indian Idol officially becomes Shiv Sainik.on Saturday.

Abhijeet Sawant who born in Mumbai’s Dalit family and became famous after won the Fist Title of “Indian idol” and married his Childhood love Shilpa in 2007.

Abhijeet said he is a Maharastrian and its natural to join Shiv Sena . He confirms this on a conference on Saturday at Sena Bhawan in the presence of party executive president Uddhav Thackeray. Sawant added he was working for younger generation for last 4 years and he can show his comfort level with youth and Shiv Sena offers him the right platform to do something for the youth

Thackeray said he will definitely help fulfill the aspirations of the youth and not confirms that he will be count in electric poll.

To a query by media persons, he denied that he had sought any electoral role for the forthcoming Maharashtra assembly elections or will he use party credentials to further his professional career.

i knw.. after not much success of becoming indian idol he is joining politics.. he also tried his luck in films and video album but no success at all.. lets see wht is he upto in politics..
