I have a problem with MTNL (Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd., Mumbai) of not settling an issue of excess billing for the last 6 months. Numerous telephonic calls, addressing the problem to the nodal officer as shown in the bill etc. did not yield any result. I am still being charged for a service which I got disconnected (i.e. broadband connection) in December 2008. Since I do not get satisfactory response, I plan to raise a consumer dispute against MTNL. What is the formality.
