I am happy with this Window 7 which can be downloaded from Microsoft.com and is beta version which can be used for 1 year. All the features are great here including media player. I had some problem in opening some websites which i didnt understand till now.Is it due to internet speed or the firewall settings should be changed in OS? I am using BSNL Broadband (Dataone) which is shared with a router with another system. That means internet connection is shared between two systems. All the sites are opening except one site mylot.com in not opening at all. It is opening in one system and is not opening in another. Is there any problem due to windows 7 OS ?

Thank for sharing your views regarding Window 7 .. Regarding that particular website .. I tried to open it it took little time to open it.. May be there is some plugin issue... May be this site require plugin's .

However, I heard that Windows 7' internet explore has some bug and sometimes it won't open some sites. You can try installing latest updates and see if they works.

ya even i heard the same..for internet users its not tht stable as tht of xp and vista... may be still there might be some more internet problems...my be thy will come up with corrections for the same...

hey my problem is not with windows 7 installed system but with another system in which winxp is the
OS. In winxp installed system the site is not opening and i want to know as the second system is having advanced OS (ie win7) is it not allowing to access the site due to shared internet connection.

Your question is not clear though. However what I get is ..

You have WINDOWS XP ----> Internet Sharing ---> to ---> Windows 7 machine !

In it your internet is directly connected to windows xp and then it is shared to windows 7 machine !

The problem of site not opening in any machine is not due to internet connection sharing, it is simply because some firewall or os misconfiguration.
