General Motors going to launch Chevrolet Beat the small car in India by 2010.

The Chevrolet Beat will manufacture in at GM’s Talegaon plant in Maharashtra and will launch in Delhi at 2010 Auto Expo.

The Chevrolet Beat comes with 1.2L, 4 cylinder engine which has 80bhp of power and after its launch with petrol variant Chevrolet Beat diesel will launch in May 2010.

The Chevrolet Beat is based on the M300 platform and will coexist with the current Spark which is based on the M200 platform.

The price of Chevrolet Beat expected between Rs. Rs. 4-5 lakh.

Quite richy looks..if they price it right, it should be a bestseller very soon..
