LOVE KA TADKA: HINDI MOVIE REVIEW
Starring Nauheed Cyrusi, Sameer Dattani, Bakhtiyaar Irani, Satish Kaushik, Rakesh Bedi, Vrajesh Hirjee,Dinyar Contractor, Shyam Mashalkar, Srivallabh Vyas
The story is about Aditya (Sameer Dattani) who is a middle class boy working for “Easy Finance” as an executive. His life revolves around his work and friend Vicky. One fine day he bumps into Sonia (Nauheed Cyrusi) who thinks him to be a road side romeo but they finally end up loving each other and getting married.
The tadka in the story takes place when Sonia finds out that Aditya was pretending to be a rich boy who owns a condo but is actually from a middle class back ground and lives in a chawl. Both of them pool up money to buy a flat but falling shot on funds, Aditya makes a deal with the owner to pay him the full amount in a year or loose all the money given till then. Just when they think that all their problems have disappeared, comes the news that the area that they will live in is strictly vegetarian and to top it all the girl’s father played by Satish Kaushik wants to stay with his daughter and yes he is strictly non-vegetarian. In order to impress the father-in-law and remain in friendly terms with he neighbours the couple play a cat and mouse game by secretly smuggling in non-veg food.
Will they be able to stay in their dream house or be found out by the neighbors?
The script is heard about before, performances are not up to the mark and neither is the music.
THE VERDICT: 1.1/5 STARS.
