][bALADIN: HINDI MOVIE REVIEW[/b]

This story is of Aladin (Ritesh) who is an orfan and lives in the city of Khwaish. He is bullied by Kasim (Sahil) since childhood like in the original Aladin who to was bullied by his cousin. He is in love with Jasmine (Jacqueline Fernandez) who gifts him with a magic lamp and bump comes out our genie, in the form of Amitabh Bachchan who helps him in romancing the girl. Of course there is our evil to in the form of Sunjay Dutt the ring master.

So what happens!! The genie wants Aladin to make three wishes and get his job over and done with. The ring master wants Aladin dead, that’s the secret in the movie and Aladin naturally wants the girl.

Aladin is a fantasy film, maybe the director Sujoy Ghosh had thought about it in a different manner but it sadly turned out differently or let’s say disastrously. The story in itself is well known, why make a film on the same subject again and again and again…. And that too so badly, where the characters are not even doing a decent job. Amitabh Bachan who has acted or let’s say over acted in the film making funny faces and Sanjay Dutt had only a limited two or three expressions on the face. Ritesh did a fine job, but that won’t be enough to save the movie and Jacqueline is beautiful but has to go a long way in the field of acting. (She actually looks like a mermaid)

In short if you feel like seeing aladin, kindly make do with the cartoon version. It has more style and you wont be wasting your time, money or energy.
