It is based on their legendry model R1 bike. To distinguish it from R1, they tend to follow a design which is inspired from R1 yet doesn't look like R1.
Also, every bike is launched after extensive tests and research, for 150cc engine, those tyres suitable enough.

well i'm not into bikes but i pretty much liked the bike...........it's got style the racing factor theme it gives a gr8 feel.............and thin tyres maybe that bike is made for indian roads that is y and also the average is reduced by broad tyres don know exactly............but overall i like the bike............
