Prince: Hindi Movie Review

Directed by Kookie V Gulati , the movie “Prince” is the story of Prince (Vivek Oberoi) whois a smartest, quickest thief in the world and works for a man called Sarang. He has committed the greatest theft of his time and wakes up with a gun shot wound in his hand and no memory of what he is and what he has done. All the Cops and Criminals together are behind his life and he has to find out where the treasure is and he goes to his girl friend Maya , but has no idea what she looks like. As a result, he meets several women claiming to be the girl he loves, played by Aruna Shields as Maya, Nandana Sen as Maya, Neeru Singh as Maya, He has only 6 days to live and save the entire human race from a secret that would destroy all. Finally, Prince finds the secret of his loss of memory. It is an old coin. His enemies are also in the search of the coins. The coins are stolen by him before the loss of his memory. He has to save everyone and also find those coins before his enemy gets to them. Will he get them in those 6 days or face failure is what is to be seen.

This film is a desperate attempt for Vivek Oberoi to get himself a ticket back to Bollywood, the man has talent and but somehow he is unable to get the right movies to showcase them. The story again is not one in which one has to use a major part of his /her brain and the music is good at places. The two debutants are there are as eye candy and Vivek deserves better projects than this one. Nandana Sen looks superb and . the movie has some mind blowing action sequences and smooth look, one wishes that the story could to have been just as mind blowing.

A lot of publicity has been done for this movie, lets hope at least for Viveks sake that it does decent business especially with Jaane Kaha Se Aayi Hai and The Japanese Wife being the films competitors.

Overall Rating: 2/5
