It's a good phone with good features and price is affordable but lack of 3g is a downside and by spending few more bucks you can buy a galaxy 3 which is an android phone....
Please don't go for Samsung wave 5253, we may have good features in it but it is tooooo sensitive, as I am already having issue with this mobile, my Samsung wave 5253 is not detecting my SIM, and even no proper service provided for Samsung products.Originally Posted by vpkumar

However, did you check your SIM in another phone, may be sim is faulty !
samsung wave 5253 is such a good phone but lack in 3g.. but its good and FYI! all mobile phones are sensitive.. it only depends on the user on how he/she is using it..
