Bollywood Movie Review : Laaga Chunari mein Daagh

Laaga Chunari mein Daagh means "a stain on my veil" but in Indian language perspective, it means "Fallen Woman". So from the name, this story is about fallen woman.

Story starts from lower middle class family from Banaras city, which was a fine but because of father's illness, things were changed, now they were not even able to have proper life. Moreover, because of inhouse quarrels, it was impossible to maintain their house, rather mansion.
Then they see a light, a bollywood movie directors wants their home on rent for shooting but it turned out to be a failed deal so no help either from this side.

All this made Badki (ie. Rani Mukharji) who was the eldest sister among two daughters to move to Mumbai and to do something for the family and her sister. When she reaches she realized the truth of life. As she was not having any digree or diploma, she became high profile prostitute and this is where she said.. "Now I can't return back".

Now as she was having money, bank balance she got her sister completed her studies and placed in a Company in Mumbai itself. Here Chutki now know that her Sister is a High Profile prostitute but instead of hiding this truth, she convince Badki to tell the family and then family accept it ie. the truth.

So the story is about regenerating of a woman. The drama goes around lots of emotions, situation Badki had to face along with family and how they accept the truth of Badki, it is like that Indian Modern Woman is changed and Daag is no more Daag, if you accept the truth then it can be cured.

Movie goes sensible and moreover you will like the presentation, some may just reject the idea behind the story but its pretty tight and one will not feel bored.
