Is someone here, who can make me understand how technically XP password is reset by CMOS battery removal. The XP password is supposed to be stored in some XP files or registry Isn't it? If it resides somewhere else, can u please tell me how, where and what the removal effects on. I mean how does it target the XP passwords.
