Hindi Movie Review : Gauri - The Unborn : Bollywood

Concept
This movie is on a challenging subject which might be be daunting for many. Movie revolves around the revenge of unborn child
s soul from his parents who was aborted as they were not ready to have child then. Through movie, director tried to convey his thought that even with mutual understanding, one should never abort a child once it is conceived.

The Movie
In the movie Sudeep (Atul Kulkarni) and Roshni (Rituparna Sengupta) are a married couple who have a child Shivani (Rushita Pandya). A normal couple with a normal life and with a charming daughter. But one day they happen to find that a spirit has / a soul has entered into their daughter and wants them to do whatever she wants. She then agrees them to move to their ancestral village and there they came to know that the soul is no other than their own UNBORN CHILD which they had aborted on mutual understanding as they were not ready to have a child at that time. Now this Unborn girl, so called Didi of Roshni wants revenge from her parents. Gauri (the soul) creates various situation in the movie and how they escapes , its the movie at whole.

Conclusion
Movie is shot in dark background and is following standards of a Horror movie but interestingly there is not much in movie to horror about. You will keep waiting for some stunning to happen and you will find that its already over then where is the real horror? It might be liked as horror film by those who are really new to horror movies otherwise there is nothing to watch.

Both Retuparna Sengupta and Atul Kulkarni are just bearable, nothing extraordinary but Roshni is some who can be praised. There is Anupam Kher in the movie but not much important to talk about it.

Director chose a subject which is already hard to express in cinema and then he tried to add horror in it ? Deadly combination ?.. no no.. its Dead combination . Horror is already so much matured and to make a horror movie, he should have be innovating but there is nothing like that, seems he saw two three Hollywood movie and then tried to mix with a little bit of Ramsay!

Overall, no paisa wasool, pain to watch.
We just say its "Lame" , rest watch and you decide .
