HeY! I what is edge service regarding mobile phones .in what ways is it helpful/useful ? Is class 12 edge good enough.

In layman's language, EDGE is an upgradation of GPRS service. It provides you faster data transfer over existing 2G GSM mobile network. If a network support EDGE properly and you have phone which is also supporting it then you can get great speed,eg. I get speed of 200kbps+ on a network on 2G, technically it can give 384kbps of peak speed.

Class 12 basically means that it has certain upload and download slots and class 33 means, it has more upload and download slots.. but unfortunately I dont remember how many upload and download slots.
