English is not optional, you have to learn it (though in some part of India, its optional)

Did you study English at school? If you did, what do you think about the quality of English language education in your country? How it could be improved? If not, how did you learn English?
There is no need to improve, english is now deep rooted in India

When picking a foreign language, is the English language popular? What other languages are picked?
English is no more foreign language in India, other than English, I have heard about French, German and Italian, generally people pick them for their business needs.


Is English language important in everyday life of a common Indian citizen?
Yes, it is now.



Where can you get in contact with the English language in India?
Whole India.

What role does the English language fulfill in your country?
Unfortunately , due to so much diversity in India, English now act as bridging language.


Do you think that popularity of the English language can threaten cultural heritage of your country? Why?
It is threatening, people are now ignorant towards their regional language , thus there are chances that regional languages may not survive long.

Do you think that the English language will remain popular? Or can it be substituted by other language?
Yes, it will remain popular, as of now there is feasibility of its substitution.
