We seem not able to understand or be informed the dfinition of a good leader.
A good leader is one who is competent, capable, decisive and has the guts and
gumption to cross swords where necesssary . Take decisive actions with firmness.
A leader who is capable, honest, competent but soft and mellow can actually be
a catalyst for crooked shenanigans and opportunists to promote their evil corrupt
behavior and soon the latter can permeate their bad influence on the entire
country and society. They dont have to fear anything, because their good soft
leader is all the time forgiving, seeking consensus and trying to please all the people.
The end result is: No Action. Talk Only. i.e: NATO country.
A leader need not be squeeky clean white in his character or personal life.
But if he is competent , shows firmness and decisiveness, willing to be harsh
on mischief makers and use the stick impartially, then that is enough.
On the other hand a good, soft, honest, sincere leader actually brings chaos
and much unhappiness to the people.
Strange logic ?.
Yup
But it is true. See for yourself what is happening in India.
( You want a separate state. Start a hunger fast, and you get one.)
( You want to be a corrupt judge. No problem. You can be and no rule to kick you out)
( You want to steal 1000s of crores as a minister. No problem..no rules to punish you)
( You face a CBI investigation.?..no problem. A corrupt judge will issue a stay order )
