I am in need of internet on my pc and currently I think I can use GRPS to surf internet on PC. I have motorola W 270 phone, it has GPRS but I don't know whether I can use it as GPRS modem for surfing internet on PC.

If it can be used as MODEM then how I do that ?

Well you can use ur phone for surfing internet on your computer.. please check your ur service provider for the data rates and speed details..

Simply install Motorola's software suit, download it from Motorola website and it has everything for you so that you can use it to connect to internet.

I wonder if W270 can really be used as an external modem for browsing net on pc. I have installed pc suite for motorola. Also when the phone is plugge in through USB, I connect it as a "Not as storage device" means as modem , pc detects it as it sounds ting BUT BUT BUT in the dial up connection properties the motorola modem is not shown. PLZ GUIDE

I think it can't be used as Modem at all. It does not support it.
