Man .. thats too old but yet nice to make modifications.
Get it to the mechanic and make sure there is no engine work needed so soon. Also, go to mechanic and ask him that how much it is going to take to make this bullet to make suitable to you. Say he says Rs. 3000 then deduct it from Rs. 15 k ie. 15000 thousand so I thing should cost you Rs. 12000 if it is in good condition.
If you are sure bout the Enfield condition by yourself then you can ask that Enfield for 10k to 13k
Sometimes i think such a old Enfield may not be so worthy until we really see the condition of the bike.
So we ( in the forum) advise you to take a mechanic who is frendly to you, and check the Enfield condition and ask the owner less than 10k if possible.
Try to finish below 10k becas thats the resale value of such old bikes.
If you really like the condition and the mechanic advices u to take the vehicle then u can slighly go over 10k + 1 K or 2 K
So u cannot go over 12k.
Remember. The old vehicle may give so many mechanical problems too. So dont invest too much.
Macha first check ur weight and den go for it
Royal Enfield , is a good bike. But make sure you are touch enough to kick the kick rod....its very strong....and big bikes always depends on the personality....the weight is very heavy.....
