Bajaj Auto India which is a reputed motorcycle manufacturer in India is all set to introduce a four wheeler passenger car. This ultra low car(ULC) is being manufactured by Bajaj in Alliance with the French Automaker, Renault. This four wheeler will be launched during Auto Expo 2012 which will be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from January 5-11.
The car will have a 800cc engine that will provide a top speed of 65kmph. The design and the development of the car was done completely in house but with a limited experience. The Bajaj RE60 will be a commercial passenger carrier that will have a seating capacity of four adults and will be a safer alternative than most of the auto rickshaw running on the streets nation wide. The vehicle will be offered in both CNG as well as diesel engine. It will be little costlier than Tata Nano but the company officials have claimed that it will be provide better value for money in terms of mileage, quality and finish.
So, guys will you prefer to move around from one place to another on this ULC or the traditional Auto rickshaw we have on our streets???
