Pantel has launched it's new tablet in the market called as," Pantel W S802C". Pantel strategy towards the launch of this new tablet is to act as a companion with other low cost tablets available in the Indian markets that are offering voice call functionality.
Pantel W S8202C sports a descent 8 inch capacitive Multi-touch screen display with a screen resolution of 800×480 Pixels. Pantel WS802C-2G runs on Android ICS operating system with cortex A8 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Mail 400 GPU which enables the user browsing much smoother. In terms of Storage, Pantel W S8202 offers 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of Internal Memory usage, though it can be easily extendable upto 32 GB with micro SD support. Specifying towards the Photography, Pantel W S8202C is baptized with front VGA Camera enabling video calling facility. To power it up, Pantel W S8202C it is dubbed with 1500 mAh battery delivering 5 to 6 hours of usuage with full charge.
Pantel W S8202C comes with a special pack , offering a BSNL SIM card with 4GB free data usage, which has a validity period limit of 2 months. In terms of connectivity, Pantel W S8202C support Wi-Fi, mini-USB, host USB(that offers the user to externally attach a pen drive or 2G+3G dongles) and HDMI Port as well as Bluetooth. The tablet also includes voice calling functionality (and 2G data) via the built-in SIM slot.
Pantel Technologies voice calling tablet the WS802C-2G is now available for a price of Rs. 8,299 (including the BSNL SIM). Company is also offering an option to buy keyboard accessory with built in stereo speakers for an addition amount of Rs. 1499.
