The KTM Duke 390 is powered by a water-cooled 373.2 cc DOHCc engine that can deliver 44HP of horsepower at 9,500rpm and 35Nm of torque at 7,250rpm.The bike weighs only 136Kg which produces a phenomenal power-to-weight ratio of 316.5PS/tonne. It is integrated to 6 speed gear box. The Duke 390 can hit 100 km/hr in less than 7 seconds and has a top speed of 170Km/hr. The Indian version of KTM Duke 390 will have ABS.
“For India, I can expect 180cc, 190cc and not a 125cc. We expect additional displacements, the 390cc is coming which is a full faired version and the so called tour purpose version. By the end, we have a full model range where we can settle in all these and especially the Asian markets,” Stefan Pierer, CEO, KTM, said in an interview.
