I just switched over to BSNL Wimax as one of my friend suggested me that it delivers nice speed. Listening to him i just purchased belkin F5D7634 modem router but the problem i was facing it that it only has a adsl input port and 4 ethernet ports. The wimax has a poe ( power over Ethernet ) Ethernet port and a data port. I have never used a wimax before and I don't know how it works. As my friend is now out of station for a while and i am unable to get connected with him.

Please suggest what to do?

Do one thing just connect your wimax ethernet poe slot on to your router and then configured your router ip to 192.168.1.2 and the dhcp range to 192.168.1.3. This will surely link your router with the wimax. Now configured your internet setting to use the dhcp ip(192.168.1.3) and default gateway to 192.168.1.1(the one as that of the wimax).
