Terror struck Bangalore on Wednesday ahead of the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections when a low-intensity bomb exploded near the bustling BJP city office in a busy residential area injuring at least 16 people, including 11 policemen.
It was a powerful motorcycle bomb went off near the headquarters of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
City Police Commissioner Raghavendra Auradkar said a motorbike with an "incendiary bomb" was used in the blast in India's Information Technology(IT) capital that coincided with the third anniversary of low intensity explosions near the Chinnaswamy stadium here ahead of an IPL match in which several people were injured.
