Taiwanese manufacturer and one of the leading competitor in the gadgets industry worldwide has been recently rumored to plan the release of a large Android-based smartphone to complement its existing lineup, and some more info on the matter is now available.
The handset, supposedly codenamed T6 and it is said to sport a huge 5.9-inch of Touchscreen display, and as per the rumors it is also capable of delivering a full HD resolution. As per the reports from evileaks, the HTC T6 will be an HTC One on steroids, featuring a 2.3GHz Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The phone will also sport an optically-stabilized UltraPixel camera on the back, as well as a 2.1-megapixel, wide-angle front camera for making video calls while on the go.
Additionally the upcoming Android Smartphone will sport 16GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot with support for additional storage space. It will be powered by a 3300mAh battery.
The smartphone will also feature HTC’s Sense user interface loaded on top of Google’s mobile operating system, supposedly the next major OS release, namely Key Lime Pie.
Nothing has been officially confirmed on the matter until now, or on the existence of T6, though it might not be too long before HTC makes a formal announcement on this.
