Bollywood Actress Jiah Khan found deat at her home in Mumbai. A police official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the body of the 25-year-old was found hanged in her apartment by her mother in Mumbai's Juhu neighbourhood late on Monday.

Khan, whose real name was Nafisa Khan, was born in New York and grew up in London before moving to Mumbai.
She made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with Ram Gopal Varma's Nishabd, playing the 18-year-old female lead opposite one of leading actors, Amitabh Bachchan, in a film loosely based on Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita.

Amitabh Bachchan tweeted What!!! Jiah Khan ??? what has happened? is this correct ? unbelievable !!!,” tweeted a shocked Amitabh Bachchan.

Actor Riteish Deshmukh, who worked with Jia in Housefull, said, “Nothing worse than waking up to a bad news — shocked n dumb struck— RIP Jiah. She was full of life and had incredible sense of humour. She was a friend n will miss her. Am deeply saddened.”

“Jiah Khan was full of life when I worked with her long time back. So sad that something drove her to take this extreme step. RIP,” tweeted Anupam Kher who had also worked with the actress.

Actor Shahid Kapoor, said, “Shocked and saddened to hear about Jiah Khan... Very disturbing. RIP... May her soul rest in peace.”

It's really shocking why such a young and talented actress commits suicide. It's shocking may her soul rest in peace.
