Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has introduced three new annual 3G Data Packs for its prepaid subscribers in the country. The company's new yearly 3G Data packs of Rs 1,251, Rs 2,299 and Rs Rs 3,299 are offering 0.75 GB, 1.5 GB and 2.5 GB 3G data usage per month for 12 months, respectively.
The new plans can be used while on Home network as well as National Roaming on BSNL/MTNL network across India without any data roaming charges. The new packs will be available from 15 April in all circles across India.
The introduction of the above mentioned packs means that the telecom company will stop offering data packs like Best Value Plan 700, 3G Combo data plans of Rs 331, Rs 551, Rs 1,103 and Rs 2,206, 3G data special tariff voucher (STV) for tablets of Rs 80, Rs 751 and Rs 1,000, and Data STVs for 3G Wi-Fi Router Rs 1,500, Rs 2,200 and Rs 3,000 from 15 April onwards, the company notified.
In a related news, BSNL recently introduced a scheme where it provides 3G data card to customers free of cost, if they are willing to hand-over their EVDO data to the telecom company.
