One of the leading telecom brand in India familiar to us as TATA DOCOMO is all set to shut down it's postpaid services in some of the less profitable circles with an aim to bring down the operational costs.
It has been reported that the closure of postpaid services will be applicable to both GSM and CDMA network along with three circles – Rajasthan, Bihar and Rest of West Bengal (Kolkata excluded) starting from 17 June, 2013. Tata Docomo claims that they have already informed the customers about this and have also requested them to migrate to prepaid service or get in touch with other operators.
Also, the company is offering no special offer for postpaid customers if they migrate to prepaid services. Let's see if this move is able to attract more customers.
