    Advert.
    Dear friends,
A historical descicion has been taken by the Indian Cbinate in the favour of FDI Retailers. The companies like WALL-MART and CARREFORE are now given an ease to open thier retail stores in many more cities in INDIA.

Foreign retailers will now be allowed to open stores in cities that have a population of less than one million. Earlier, supermarkets could only come up in 53 cities. A relaxation was permitted only in case of states that did not have a single city with a population of one million. The move will allow stores to come up in cities such as Gurgaon and Aurangabad.

This descision is really going to change the living standards as well as GDP of India as well as it is going to eaffect the SME's. The things for common people is going to be changed and better in my opinion.
What you guys think on this put your views and make the common man think about the pros and cons of the descision.

Everything has its pros and cons. In this case I think that the consumer class will really benefit, because big retail outlets like Wall Mart can easily arrange for goods at cheaper rates due to economies of scale. Moreover, the ambiance of such places is quite smoothing and relaxing, implying that customers can actually enjoy buying.

On the other hand, the poor small retail shops and hockers are likely to lose their customers, amounting to a great deal of loss initially. However, the craze of Wall Marts and such companies may reduce gradually, as the craze of malls in metro cities is also on its decline.

On the other hand, small retailer and hockers are likely to loose their clientage. This would result in adverse effect on the family income of poor and middle class households. However, the craze of Wall Mart and such companies may gradually reduce, just like the craze of malls in metro cities is on its decline.

    Hello guys,
Well I appreciate your views on FDI. But, as I think there is more benefit to the farmers who can sell their vegetables and fruits to such big retailers like:- MARKS & SPENCER, CARREFOUR, WALL MART etc. Here farmers can sell their products at reasonable price and can be benefited as well and Yes it would be a great problem for the owners of kirana shops and vendors and hawkers.
Moreover this is a great benefit to the common people as it would decrease the flow of money from their pocket.

Overall there are both pros and cons as happens with every thing. We just have to wait for the actual time when the companies are here in market.
