Hi , I just see a file in computer which I don't recognize, this file is in my D: drive and is not very large , its only 1.4 and and there is also VC_RED.msi file. Can anyone tell me what they are and is it safe to remove them ?

They are harmless files and are not virus either. They are just left over temp files from the Visual C++ install and can be deleted as thay re no longer needed. Most probably you have installed some program which required VC++ libraries but it was not removed when installation was completed.
Searching over net I found that there is a known flaw in one of that VC redists such that it fails to remove its temp files. Rather, Microsoft has a full list of all the files it uses that can be deleted. If I can find it I'll update...
