How to become Insurance Broker in India - Procedure and requirements

Sir,

I want to be insurance broker and want to know procedure. I asked my friend who works for a company as an agent and he said he can also make me an agent but then I can only sell policy for that very company only. But I want to be broker so that can sell any company's policy or whichever is best and effective.

I get to know from from that there is IRDA exam for agent but I can't get any details for the type of exam which is for broker. They say he is called composite advisor . Please guide me and provide me exact details for the process.
