Canon LBP2900 printer Ghosting issue (double image printing)
Hello Sir,
We are using Canon LBP2900 B laser printer at our place, it is sparingly used and has been working good but just recently it has started giving problem of hosting images. Whenever we print something, we see same image or text being repeated on page in very subtle way . It is not entirely visible but make page look dirty.
Please advice, is it hardware problem or problem with software which is causing bad prints ?
Do I need to take it to service center or can fix it myself ?

This problem can be due to moisture in the printer or may be just because you are using bad quality of ink.
My first suggestion is to adjust the darkness of ink, set it to some lower level and see if it helps. It is because when you see ghosting, it means the ink from previous job is still on drum , it could be hardware issue ie. diffuser problem also.
As said, first try reducing ink and let us know.
