Hey folks,

I need some advice today, in our house there is requirement of a new AC. We already have couple of ACs in our house and now there is a small room, it also need AC. It will not be used so much, mostly at day time. The room is not big, its I think 10x10 or 10x8 and is mostly used at day times.

So we are looking for a new split air conditioner for that room. But we already have couple of AC in our house so we are looking for lowest power consumption AC but should be from some good brand like Hitachi, Diakin, BlueStar or O-General . I have mentioned these brands because they have better reputations and are generally better than other brands. Price is also important factor, we don't want to spend more than Rs. 35000 on this AC.

So guys, suggest some.

On my search I found this Godrej Eon Diet AC 1 Ton which consumes 841 watt per hour and cost Rs. 37K . So this is not for me because its costly than my budget and is also not from my preferred brand.

So, 841 watt is lowest I can get because I also looked for Hitachi 1 ton Kaze ac, it was consuming 980 watt per hour. What if there any ac with consumption of around 600watt or less per hour ?

Rohit Bhai, it depends upon the time when you are making purchase. Every year with advancement of technology, better ACs are available in market. Moreover, what we need is new and better technology. Whatever they are doing, ACs are still consuming lots of power.

I don't think you can find any effective ac with 600 watt /hr usage for that size of room.
