PPP Down, No Response, check VPI/VCI,Encapsulation or Contact to ISP
Please tell me how to resolve this error. My modem is showing above error when I checked it. I checked it because my internet was not work at all . My modem is from TP-Link and connection is from BSNL landline.
I am seeing this error when I see device summary .

It could be simply issue from your ISP ie. they must be down. Or may be its configuration related issue.
I suggest you to first make sure your ISP is not down, if ISP is fine then probably its configuration related issue. For BSNL, VPI/VCI encapsulation should be 0/35 . Don't really know exact significance of its technicalities but that's how it should work. Every modem has its own way to configure it. May be you can see documentation of your TP-Link modem to verify it.
