The Indian Navy has invited online applications for the recruitment of various civilian posts through the Indian Navy Civilian Entrance Test (INCET-01/2023). The posts include Chargeman, Senior Draughtsman and Tradesman Mate. The online application process will begin from 18 December 2023 and will end on 31 December 2023. Candidates who are interested and eligible can apply online through the official website of the Indian Navy.
The candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 295 through online mode, except for SC, ST, PwBDs, Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates who are exempted from the fee. The candidates will have to upload their scanned documents such as photo, signature, ID proof, etc. along with the application form. The candidates will also have to check the preview and all the columns carefully before submitting the form. The candidates can take a print out of the final submitted form for future reference.
The candidates will be selected on the basis of a computer-based examination, which will be held as per the schedule. The exam will consist of objective-type questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and General Awareness. The exam will be of 100 marks and the duration will be 90 minutes. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
The candidates should have the following eligibility criteria for the respective posts:
Chargeman: Bachelor Degree in Science with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics as a subject or Diploma in Chemical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Engineering 42 POSTS
Senior Draughtsman: Class 10th Matric in any recognized board in India, 2 Year Diploma / Certificate in Draughtsmanship, Engineering 3 Year Diploma in related trade / post 258 POSTS
Tradesman Mate: Class 10th Matric with ITI Certificate in related trade 610 POSTS
The candidates should also meet the age limit as on 31 December 2023, which is 18 to 25 years for Chargeman and Tradesman Mate and 18 to 27 years for Senior Draughtsman. However, there is age relaxation for the reserved categories as per the government rules.
