The disturbance caused due to attacks on Biharis and north Indians in Maharashtra allegedly by MNS members saw new and one of the worst chapter today in Mumbai when a boy aged 26, Rahul Raj tried to create havoc by taking a bus on gun point just to deliver his message of hatred to Raj Thakrey which aroused because of recent regionalism activities in Maharashtra.
The boy boarded BEST's double-decker bus number 332 and around 9.45am near Chowkie No. 3 near Bail Bazaar in Kurla, central Mumbai he showed up his country made pistol while conductor asked for fare money. The bus conductor managed to call police which later on shot this boy.
According to the co-passengers of the bus, the boy had no intention to harm passengers, all he wanted to convey messages that he want to meet Police Commissioner and want to kill Raj Thakre. He dropped two notes saying so.
There are mixed reaction from various parts of the country, while most of the people were against Delhi Police's move and wanted boy to get arrest instead of shot down. While Mumbai police justified their action as for them it was most appropriate to maintain law and order.
Looking into the background of dead Rahul Raj, he was just another college going guy with no criminal background. While few news channel reported that he was criminal by back ground but Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said that from current investigation we did not find any criminal records against Rahul Raj, he was just a common citizen of Patna.
