I have E1731 Dongle with vodafone 2G - Speed is very slow. Some one says that with this dongle, speed will be around 300 MBps. The fact is that, speed is only 20 KBps.

Is there any solution by which dongle I can achieve the speed nearly 300 MBps?.

Actually E1731 is from Huawei and I think it supports speed upto 7.1 mbps. What you wrote ie. 300 Mbps must be 3.1 mbps . But actually speed depends upon your connection. On 2G you will get speed of 2G only.

Have you tried to turn it into 3G mode yet and checked speed then ?

I am agree with ricky you must try the 3G because on 2G network you get only the normal speed for internet. I am quite sure that if you turn on the 3G mode then your speed would must be increase comparison then your 2G network. Best of Luck
