I have pop and smtp server details working properly directly but if I try to access them behind proxy they are not working. I have ccproxy installed . Mail feature is on but still I am facing the problem.

Any guide or help will be appreciated.

Making it work behind proxy I mean thunderbird can be tricky. I hope you have thunderbird version 9 mail client.

Giving a quick search on google showed me following details, try them please:

1. Turn off Mail protocol in ccproxy (mail tick box)
2. Turn on Port forwarding and press the 'E' button to manage port forwarding
3. Create two port forwarding rules that forward local ports 110 and 25 to your pop and smtp servers.
4. In the email client enter the POP and SMTP server as the IP or name of your proxy server and leave the ports as the defaults (110 and 25). Enter the username and password as normal.
