    Hi

I just installed windows 7 on my laptop but to my surprise, when I started computer after setup, I see following error..

    BOOTMGR is missing,
    Alt+Ctrl+Delete to restart

But I think windows was installed properly. Now there is no way to boot my computer as I have lost old installation. should I reinstall my os or something can be done to solve ?

Either you have selected wrong boot device or simply you need to repair windows. Boot your computer with windows 7 disc and click repair computer, there is option to automatically fix boot / startup problems, select it and leave your computer for a while, windows will try to fix it for you. Restart your computer and see if it fixes the issue.
