Ha..you must know this before you smile.

The airport project was conceived in 1991.
Tata was awarded the contract. But the company
pulled out after a year, fed yup with the delays of the Indian bureacracy.

It was again put up for tender and now we have it.
16 years after the idea was first started. SIXTEEN LONG YEARS..!!!!
By that time the project cost has gone up by 6 times.

The actual work took only 4 years to complete.
The rest , the delay was due to the incompetent, inefficient IAS bureacracy
and incompetent leaders who we are led to believe are great achievers.

Actually they are worse than mediocre.
When we Indians realize that fact, only then we can stop these rotten people from
fooling us and covering up their incompetence.

Only the Indian private sector that is not within the control of these duffers
have managed to save India and give it a name internationally.

Its far man. I hope they don't shift the domestic terminals.

The New Airport is Really very Big and Beautiful..I thnk one of the best in the country and still growing!!

this is awesome airport in india after hyd airport..but its very far frm bangalore city.. the old HAL airport is used by indian airforce..
